Not all can count themselves blessed by the ukay-ukay gods, but it looks like Gela Muñoz is one of the lucky few. In a TikTok video, the Filipina content creator unveiled a fortunate find that staunch thrift shop hunters would dream of stumbling upon: Prada shoes for a much, much lower price.

The TikTok clip, which has now amassed two million views and more than 100,000 likes, detailed the thrift shop adventure of the Preview Clique member. In a personal message, Gela revealed to us that she made her way to Millennial’s Fashion Boutique in San Pedro, Laguna, where she rifled through the shoe racks.
Among her unique finds were black lace-up pointed pumps from Carlos Sanchez and double-strapped Mary Janes, which resembled the work of designer Sandy Liang.
The content creator thought she hit the final jackpot with a pair of vintage Saint Laurent pumps, tipped by a black leather cap. But when she was about to step out of the thrift shop, Gela stumbled upon another interesting find that had her ecstatic.
“Is that what I think it is?!!!” she wrote on the video. The camera panned to a pair of scrunched-up flats, enclosed with lace-up vamps. When zoomed, details of the pink-hued shoes can be seen in their full glory, including the brand’s signature “Prada” embellished on the side and its inner sole.
From the looks of it, the pair in question may be ballet flats from Prada Sport’s line, which could have likely come from the late '90s to the early 2000s.
On the web, different colorways of the shoe could be found on reseller sites. They can fetch up to a selling price of $335, or approximately P18,600. Gela, on the other hand, only paid P720 for the pair!
