Internationally-renowned Filipino designer Michael Cinco enlists Miss Universe-Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados for his latest couture campaign.

Gazini Ganados for Michael Cinco's Latest Couture Collection
Given that Michael is a living legend in the pageant scene, with numerous beauty queens donning his work as their evening gown entries, it's a natural choice for Gazini to be his newest muse.
"Gazini is endearing and adorable. Her beauty effortlessly conveys elegance and charm," Michael tells Preview in an exclusive interview. "I specifically picked these gowns for her to complement her Arabian-Asian features. They highlight her royal-like beauty even more."

When it came to selecting the pieces for Gazini to model, the designer aimed to showcase "the timeless DNA of the Michael Cinco brand," which is comprised of artfully done patterns and intricate embroidery and beadwork.
First up was a floor-length strapless gown featuring an array of pearls hand-sewn on tulle fabric. The bodycon frock is plucked out of "The Impalpable Dream of Egypt" collection, which references Egyptian decor and architecture. One can notice such cues in the sculptural form the pearls take on Gazini's figure.

Another piece from the Egyptian-inspired collection is a sheer mock neck and ball gown skirt ensemble. Swarovski crystals were delicately positioned to create an enchanting pattern, accented by the hints of blue on the neckline and at the waist. Gazini had her black tresses pulled into a tight bun, putting all its grandeur details at the centerstage.

Last but not least, the Cebuana beauty queen served face in a glimmering gold beaded dress. The show-stopper piece is from Michael's 'The Impalpable Dream of Gustav Klimt" collection, which references the Austrian painter's work. Nude-toned tulle was dotted with embellishments that resembled leaves sprouting from within Gazini. It even comes with a matching pair of gilded gloves.

A key component of this campaign were the Jojo Bragais heels named after Gazini herself. The shoe's pointed-toe shape and neutral colorway perfectly sealed each of her looks!

Stunning work, Gazini and Michael!
