On February 19, 2024, the Senate voted 22-0-0 to pass the third and final reading of the "Eddie Garcia" Bill, also known as the Senate Bill (SB) 2505, which aims to protect the workers in the movie and television industry from unfair treatment and poor working conditions.
“This measure is the Senate’s recognition of the immense talent, dedication, and contribution not just of Filipino artists, but also those behind the camera who put their heart and soul to come up with material for the movie and television industry. Sila ‘yung mga walang mukha, at madalas, sa end credits lang natin makikita ang kanilang mga pangalan at katungkulan,” said Senator Jinggoy Estrada.

Celebrities and industry personalities flocked to the Senate to see the bill passed. Among them was Marian Rivera in an all-white OOTD and her husband Dingdong Dantes looking dashing in a suit. To add to the momentous event, Marian and Dingdong also accepted Resolution No. 909, a resolution advocated by Senator Robin Padilla. This resolution congratulates and commends the artists and production team of the movie 'Rewind,' wherein the showbiz couple played starring roles. The film achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time in the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.
Of all the guests in the room, Marian Rivera stood out with her glowing complexion complemented by her pristine white-on-white ‘fit.
