The house's new creative director calls it "very British." Still, there's no direct high fashion correlation to the viral hair clips, so this might be pushing things too far.
Tracing the roots of the trend though, at least locally, it seems like the duck phenomenon had originated from Baguio, where vendors peddled the accessory along with other quirky designs in public market stalls.
