As beautiful as they are, wedding dresses typically come at a steep cost. While it's a price that many soon-to-be-wed couples are willing to pay, some brides still prefer to look for another alternative that won't break the bank.

Bellezza Aesthetics CEO and commercial pilot Cristina Decena, for instance, didn't mind settling for a budget-friendly dress for her special day with Dr. Christian Peralta. Learn more about where she found her pick below and how much she spent on it!

It's not uncommon for brides to pay a renowned designer hundreds of thousands for their dream wedding dress. On the contrary, Cristina's number-one priority for her wedding was the event's reception and production team.

"Kasi po meron kaming mga wedding suppliers na non-negotiable, which was the food. Top priority namin 'yung food, tapos photo and video, also the venue," she revealed in an interview with PEP.ph. "So, medyo 'yung big four na 'yun, doon napunta 'yung [budget]!”

Since she already paid their top suppliers a generous amount of money, she realized that she no longer wanted to spend a lot on a dress that she would end up using only once. She then decided to get fitted in Divisoria after receiving a six-figure quotation from another designer: "Kaya nag-research ako, nagpunta akong Divi, nagsukat-sukat ako doon. Tapos noong natuwa ako, pinursue ko na Divisoria na lang."

The final result was an off-the-shoulder wedding gown that boasted elaborate floral appliques and a dramatic floor-grazing train. Accessorizing the breathtaking piece with diamond jewelry and Kara Zapatos heels, Cristina looked like a million bucks as she walked down the aisle. Stunning!

The best part: The custom-made gown only costs P45,000! "Na-realize ko na 'pag wedding gown, isang beses mo lang namang susuotin tapos itatago mo na after. It's really more on [if] bagay sa iyo o hindi. Hindi naman siya sa pangalan nung gumawa," Cristina explained.
