Ah yes, the tale of opposites attract. There's a reason why we all get hopelessly devoted to this schmaltzy plotline, whether in classic rom-coms or contemporary K-dramas. You just can't resist a story about a stern, sometimes introverted lead falling for an outgoing and bubbly stranger-turned-lover.
The latest heartwarming title on our watchlist is tvN's Crash Course in Romance, which stars Hospital Playlist's Jung Kyung Ho and the Cannes Award-winning Jeon Do Yeon. It revolves around retired national athlete Nam Haeong-seon (Do Yeon), who takes on a tutoring job at a university where Cho Chi-yeol (Kyung Ho) also teaches at. The two, as you may have guessed, are nothing alike with their personalities, but a bond still persists to form between them.
In episode six of the drama, the two spent an afternoon by a fishing lake as Haeong-seon started to chip away at Chi-yeol's snobbish facade. As the sunset illuminated them, the pair also began to see each other in different lights.
Aside from feeling fuzzy inside while watching the scene, we also couldn't help but pause and zoom in on their fashionable footwear. Both characters were rocking some particularly cool kicks that we just had to hunt for the exact ones!

What he planned to be a peaceful day by himself didn't go as planned (perhaps for the better) for Chi-yeol. His breezy weekend OOTD was composed of a loose plaid shirt, gray jeans, and a rough-and-tumble pair of sneaks.
The stars on them immediately pointed out to us that they were from Italian label Golden Goose, who are known for their purposely "distressed" designs. Chi-yeol's had a brown gum sole and the word "Sneakers" emblazoned at the back of each shoe.

Meanwhile, Haeong-seon's kicks reflected her colorful and bright spirit. She went for a comfy pair of Veja trainers that came in an easy-to-the-eyes pastel colorway. It definitely added a cute touch to her neutral striped long-sleeve and jeans combo!
