Below, five poses for a double-tap worthy Instagram shot that will have you collecting hearts.
1. Modified mermaid pose
Do your best impression of Ariel and position yourself at the center of the couch with your legs propped up. This pose looks best paired with an outfit that doesn't have much going on from the waist down, as the pose hides the bottom half of the ensemble.
2. Seated at a side angle
Instead of facing your body towards the camera, turn your torso fully to the side to take up more space in the photo and create a longer shape with your body. Make like Bea and place your handbag right next to you to so it gets all the attention it deserves.
3. Fully reclined
If you want to look as relaxed as you feel, then feel free to lay back and enjoy the couch. We especially love how Bea's neutral outfit allows the brightly colored interiors to shine.
4. Use the arm rest
If you're looking to incorporate the couch into your pose, don't forget to use the arm rest. You can pose pensively with a propped up elbow like Bea or get a little creative and sit on the arm rest. Whatever you end up doing, that small interaction with your prop will definitely elevate your photo!
5. Play with the light source
