For its Spring/Summer 2024 presentation, London-based fashion retailer COS took to the Italian capital to showcase 33 elegant looks from their Atelier capsule and mainline collection.
COS Spring/Summer 2024 Show in Rome
Fresh from a successful Fall/Winter 2023 show at New York Fashion Week, COS pulled out all stops to ensure that its latest show would be memorable for all. After all, it's the first time they presented in the scenic city of Rome.
To start, the venue was a newly renovated 15th-century hospital, the Corsie Sistine. The impressive 13,000 square feet of fresco definitely set the mood!
Set amid the historic Roman backdrop, the brand's penchant for quiet yet enduring gracefulness shone bright with modern classic pieces. Each creation harmoniously interweaves sculptural lines with soft and non-traditional fabrics, as well as loose silhouettes delicately tapered with tailored precision.
Billowy silhouettes get a contemporary spin with sleek lines that offer a cosmopolitan approach, versus the traditionally bohemian aesthetic of off-the-shoulder tops and wide-leg trousers. It was a perfect demonstration of how COS continues to reimagine classics for its sophisticated clientele.
A play on fabric is also utilized to keep classic garments current and fresh. No detail is too small as tweaks were incorporated to inject the wearer's personality, while still keeping the full look timeless.
They also presented their Atelier offering, which was characterized by more experimental techniques while still employing their meticulous handling of luxe yet sustainably sourced materials. Hand-pleated shoulder pads, fishtail skirts, hybrid sleeves, and unorthodox lapels were some of the distinguishing details of this line.
Chic pops of red are sprinkled here and there while neutrals remain at the center of the arsenal, a testament to the brand's grasp of current fashion trends and its understanding of the wearers' style ethos.

Stylish global icons including Minho Choi, Pamela Anderson, and our very own Liz Uy were in attendance for the momentous fashion show. Iconic Roman supermodel Mariacarla Boscono graced the runway, while Italian cinema treasures Valentina Belle and Adriano Giannini were spotted in the front row together with one of the campaign's faces Jack O'Connell.
