Design your own custom Nike shoes with this app. In case you didn't know, the Nike mobile app—and website—has a nifty feature called Nike By You where, you've guessed it, you can customize selected Nike shoes to your heart's content. First off, make sure you're a registered member of the online Nike community; you can sign up free online and in the app.
Start by picking out your base shoe (price varies). Once you've decided on the pair to cop, you pick your size and start customizing. Nike gives you two options for the material: canvas and leather as well as a variety of color swatches to choose from. The parts of the shoe that you're allowed to customize are the vamp, tip, quarter, tongue, tongue label, foxing/lining, the all-important swoosh and backtab, and more.
Each pair of custom Nike shoes takes approximately four to six weeks to arrive at your doorstep. Note that shipping is not included in the base price.
