Where were you when the first Comme des Garçons Play x Converse collection was released? Lining up at your local concept retailer to pick a pair up, probably. Of all the Converse collabs out there, none have been as popular as the combination of the Chuck 70 and the bug-eyed heart motif.
If you haven't gotten enough of the series, then we've got good news for you: Comme des Garçons Play and Converse are back with a new release. For the latest installment of their ongoing collaboration, the instantly recognizable heart print takes over the whole shoe. Several outlined hearts appear on the heel and forefoot, while your standard solid red heart stays on the collar.
It's a cool new update that is an amalgamation of sorts with past releases. The black and sail color scheme remains, with high and low top iterations. The collab will first be released on April 29 at ginza.doverstreetmarket.com, and will be available at Comme des Garçons Play stockists on May 15.
