In her latest trip to America, Ciara didn’t shy away from showcasing her sartorial taste through Instagram-worthy ensembles. Although her travel lookbook took cues from a mix of styles and trends, all of them had one thing in common: They were a masterclass in casual chic fashion. 1. Amidst New York’s sweltering summer heat, Ciara stayed cool in a white crop top, denim shorts, and a classic pair of Chuck Taylors. Some may call this combo boring, but Ciara pulls off the classic pairing in typical cool-girl fashion.

2. FYI, you can wear bikini tops outside of the beach, too! Take it from Ciara, who teamed her red bikini top with a white button-down and frayed shorts for an outdoor picnic. 

3. Channeling her dainty side, Ciara swapped out her denim shorts for a long floral dress while enjoying another sunny day out. So as not to overwhelm the feminine number, she styled it with a simple white bag and a small medallion necklace. 

4. We’ll leave it to Ciara to pack two printed maxi dresses for her summer trip! While her first frock was modest and cutesy, the second was a dark, backless dress that she punctuated with brown leather. 

5. Keeping things simple, Ciara elevated her blue sweater with a pleated brown skirt and white chunky sneakers. So cute!

6. After shopping and meeting up with her friends in New York, Ciara headed upstate to visit Yale University. She continued to dress comfortably for the weather, sporting a cream lace top and straight-leg jeans.
