It’s a known fact that when an event such as the Preview Ball 2024 commences, the custom pieces tend to pile up in the closet. However, Best Dressed 2024 honoree Ces Drilon took on the challenge for this year’s ball by going for a rather intentional and practical route for her outfit.

The custom Jaggy Glarino brown denim piece offers a two-in-one design. For the night, the top was done in a halter silhouette that accentuated Ces’ form, while the seams on the bodice gave the design a touch of texture. But observed from a distance, the classic jacket collar and sleeves at the hem are apparent—a seamless yet effective choice of draping to complete the look.
“My top can actually be worn as a jacket on another occasion, and I love separates so I can mix and match, kailangan practical tayo and sustainable,” she wrote on Instagram.
The essence of sustainability echoes through her choice of jewelry since she sported a reversible bamboo bracelet that dates back to the 1970s. As for the rest of her jewelry, the Best Dressed awardee tapped Erica Concepcion Reyes of Riqueza Jewellery for the accent pieces, and her winged earrings were designed by Zolotas, a Greek jeweler with a legacy dating back to 1895.
