More often than not, an individual’s personal style is a reflection of their lifestyle and personality. An outfit is a culmination of the things they do and love—such is the case with celebrity dance coach Sky Bautista.

"In our dance community, I emphasize the importance of embracing individuality, that is why I allow myself to explore a diverse range of styles when choosing what to wear. Self-expression is at the core of everything I do. It’s about being whoever I want to be. It has always been about being brave, bold, and confident," she shared in an exclusive chat with Preview.

Sky Bautista's Wardrobe Staples
1. Cropped tops
"I love how I can play with the proportion of the pieces. Matching them with high-waisted bottoms or combining them with other pieces gives my looks a more modern, put-together vibe."

2. Baggy pants
"Whether I am teaching, dancing or simply running daily errands, I can still look femme by adding a little flair of white polo, big shirt, or a bralette inside. This has been my go-to in my weekly outfits."

3. Co-ords
"Anything that is easy to wear and comfortable will always be my non-negotiables when I travel. I can easily hustle straight to dance classes after running errands wearing co-ords too."

4. Anything black
"I usually get my hands on any black dress or jumpsuits but with a statement. Either it’s bare at the back or has a playful design. You can never go wrong with anything black. Fits every occasion."

5. Sneakers
"I am a sneaker-addict, [and] I’d pair any outfit with ‘em. I’ll always get my hands on the new colorway of Nike Dunks and playfully pair it with literally any outfit."

6. Small bags
"You can never see me in big bags, not unless I have rehearsals. I just find them easier to use. I can wear it cross-body and just dump my essentials in there: cards, car keys, a tiny perfume."

7. Hoop Earrings
"Not only are they incredibly versatile, but they can instantly elevate any outfit."
