Spirits are high as Carlos Yulo brings home not just one but two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 24-year-old gymnast became the world champion for both the men's floor exercise and men's vault categories. With this feat, the Philippines attains its highest placement in the Olympics to date, clinching the 19th spot out of all participating nations.

Carlos' victory proved to be a historic moment as the Philippine national anthem was played for two days in a row at the Olympics. For both events he ruled, the gymnast stepped onto the podium as he was bestowed his well-deserved gold medals.
Aside from his Team Philippines tracksuit, Carlos also put on a pair of eye-catching trainers from Adidas. In case you didn't know, the sportswear brand is one of the principal sponsors of our country's roster of athletes.
After the men's vault final, Carlos stood on the podium with Armenia's Artur Davtyan and Great Britain's Harry Hepworth, who placed second and third, respectively.
