Roman high jeweler Bulgari continues to blaze upon new frontiers as it opens its latest boutique in The Mall at NUSTAR Resort and Casino.
"We're excited to be in Cebu," Bulgari's Regional Managing Director Jeffrey Hang tells Preview. "We've always had a very strong Cebuano clientele, serving them in Manila, as well as elsewhere in the world. So, to be able to actually have this opportunity to serve them locally now is a big, big step for us," he shares.

A brand synonymous with luxury, Bulgari has kept its status as the discerning elite's go-to for the past 140 years. It continues to stay relevant by staying true to its classic, timeless DNA while it ever evolves and incorporates modern sensibilities—much like the Eternal City it is deeply intertwined with.
Their latest store itself is a nod to Rome, with its exteriors lined with travertine columns and its signature black grand antique marble signage. These palatial elements would extend to the interiors, casting an elegant allure to the bright and open space that beckons inside.

The NUSTAR boutique features a central grand show room gallery that is distinguished by a Venini chandelier crafted in Murano, as well as artwork by Andy Warhol. Two adjoining rooms are also there to explore, as well as a private lounge for shoppers to relax in.
It makes the fitting backdrop to show case the full world of Bulgari. After all, according to Jeffrey, shoppers can look forward to "the best of Bulgari in all its many, many facets." While the focus is still primarily on their exquisite jewels, they also brought in watches as well their full range of accessories including handbags, sunglasses, and textiles.
And yes, the well loved Serpenti collection shines front and center in their Cebu boutique. After all, according to Jeffrey, Filipino clients love the Serpenti collection best. Even Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach isn't immune to the iconic snake's charm. She tells Preview that it's actually her favorite Bulgari collection for a very personal reason. "I was actually born in the Year of the Snake," she says, and she resonates with the symbolism behind the collection: how the powerful serpent continues to transform and reinvent herself.
Bulgari Pre-Launches Summer Collection Bags in NUSTAR Boutique
While the brand does not actually do store exclusives, Jeffrey reveals that they have actually pre-launched the latest Summer Collection of Bulgari bags in Cebu. So, yes, that means you can get first dibs on their muted blue and pink bags before the rest of the world does.
"The bags that you see in the store that are these sort of muted blues and pinks are meant to reflect the colors of the ocean,which I think is quite fitting for Cebu, and we've pre-launched those here," he shares, "It will not be until the end of the month for most of the rest of the world."
