Barbie Forteza had the funniest reaction to a gift from Rain Matienzo. The actress and Swiftie burst into tears upon receiving tour merch purchased from the Melbourne leg of The Eras Tour. "GRABE KA. @rainmatienzo," she wrote in an Instagram post. "Thank you sooooo much."
The Maria Clara at Ibarra actress also posted a video of herself crying happy tears while saying thank you to Rain for her thoughtful gift. To which the content creator replied, "'di kita makakalimutan whenever there's anything about taylor swift. love you sosososososo much!"
To those who might not know, Barbie is a longtime Swiftie. She even caught the Manila leg of Taylor's Red Tour in 2015.
And since she's a Swiftie, she knows the struggle is real when it comes to Taylor's tour merch. After all, Taylor Swift did have the most sought-after merchandise of any of Billboard's Top 100 artists of 2023. Plus, with limited release merch, soaring high resell rates, and rabid fans with fast fingers, getting your hands on a piece of Taylor is a little bit complicated.
Fun fact: Kathryn Bernardo wore the same beige concert tee when she watched Taylor Swift in Melbourne. The T-shirt Rain gifted Barbie isn't currently available on Taylor's merchandise shop, but we've found a similar option in gray.
