The annual Baeksang Arts Awards is back for its 59th year, and for those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s basically South Korea’s version of the Oscars, where the brightest of stars gather to honor the creme de la creme of the Korean entertainment industry.
You’ll find all your favorite A-list K-Drama actors and actresses here, but there is one particular actress who's always highly anticipated. We’re talking about Hallyu star Bae Suzy, who's back for her 8th consecutive year of hosting the ceremony. And as expected, her red carpet looks just keep getting better. Here's a closer look at what she wore this year.

For the first half of the award show, the Start-Up actress wore an extravagant black ball gown designed by Spanish bridal and evening dress designer Marco & Maria. The strapless frock comes from their most recent Luces Y Sombras collection. To add a more luxurious touch to her look, she wore an eye-catching pair of diamond earrings with an elegant choker and ring to match.
During the second half of the awarding, she switched out the black ball gown for a white corseted silk dress that draped around her figure flawlessly. She also changed her jewelry, opting for a simple dangling necklace and white gold huggies that added just the right amount of sparkle to her outfit.
When it came to beauty, it's like she barely wore any makeup. She kept her makeup as natural as possible, only wearing a light amount of blush and some slight gloss on her lips. She looked so fresh!
Overall, the actress looked gorgeous in both her looks. And although she might not have won the award for Best Actress, she definitely won the hearts of the audience with her striking style.
