Atasha Muhlach has steadily positioned herself as one of this generation's it girls. Despite being a newcomer in the industry, the 22-year-old already has quite the presence both on screen as a noontime show host and online as a style star in the making.
Atasha's fashion sense is youthful, laidback, and has just the right touch of glam. On most occasions, she has stylist Jro Alarcio in her corner, who aids her in dressing up and serving one double tap-worthy look after the other.
In an exclusive interview, Jro talks about what it's like styling the Gen Z it girl, and what gives her that certain je ne sais quoi.

Please describe the first time you met.
"When I first started working with Qurator Studio, one of our clients was the Muhlach family. They were very welcoming, so I wasn’t surprised that Tash displayed the same warmth when we first met. Our initial meeting was during the fitting of her dress for [a project related to] Le Bal Des Debutantes in Paris."
How did you end up working together? How long have you been working together since?
"I began working with Tash when I was an intern in 2022. At Qurator Studio, urgency and respect are our core values, and I believe we ended up collaborating because my personality and background perfectly matched her specific needs. Everything came together seamlessly."
How would you describe Atasha as a client?
"Atasha has a creative personality. We always prepare her looks by conceptualizing and sharing ideas to achieve the desired outcome. I always ensure that Atasha feels confident and happy with her attire."
How has working with Atasha impacted your career as a fashion stylist?
"Working with Atasha has significantly influenced my career as a fashion stylist. Collaborating with celebrities requires a deep [mutual] understanding, [valuing each other's] time, and [being consistent], and Atasha excels in those areas. She consistently shares innovative ideas that enhance my professional growth."

"I would describe her personal style as a sophisticated blend of classy, casual, and chic, [with a hint of] street style. We consistently maintain this aesthetic, ensuring [her looks are] uniquely tailored and elevated to make her presence truly stand out each day."
Has your personal relationship developed since you first met? How would you describe Atasha as a friend?
"My relationship with Atasha has significantly evolved since our initial meeting. Being the same age, I believe, has contributed to the formation of a strong and well-bonded connection between us.
"I consider Atasha a dear friend and I deeply appreciate her. She values my ideas and consistently seeks my input. However, when it comes to work, we have a clear understanding to set aside our friendship for the sake of professionalism, as the client always comes first."
What’s your most unforgettable moment working with Atasha?
"My most unforgettable moments with Atasha involve our playful banters about her looks. Often, we lose track of time, and before we know it, it’s 1 a.m., and we are still engrossed discussing her various styles."

"Atasha is quite playful and conversational. She loves engaging in meaningful discussions and genuinely values hearing others’ thoughts and opinions."
