The film Kill Bill lives rent-free in our minds. The action-packed movie, which starred Uma Thurman as a femme fatale referred to as "the Bride," quickly became a cult classic after its initial premiere in 2003. If there's one scene that sticks out in our memory though, it's probably the tableau of Uma's character in a yellow jumpsuit, katana in hand.
Another thing that made this shot memorable were the sneakers that seamlessly matched with the assassin's outfit. Such killer kicks were a rendition of Onitsuka Tiger's iconic Mexico 66. Luckily, you don't need to be a first-class martial artist to rock them for your OOTDs. Just take Anne Curtis and Joshua Garcia for example, who were both spotted donning the pair.

For her usual It's Showtime hosting duties, Anne added a pop of color to her black-and-white look with her Mexico 66 kicks. Teamed with a white tank top, black trousers, and a Gucci Jackie arm candy, the bold sneakers totally stood out.
Meanwhile, Joshua has made this pair a go-to for his daily jaunts. Similar to Anne, the sneakers imparted a touch of vibrance and some retro charm to his all-neutral sweater and jeans combo. We love the chill vibes of both of their looks!
