At the ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December 10, fans were treated to the first teaser of the upcoming It's Okay to Be Okay adaptation. Lead stars Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino were seen portraying their takes on the original K-drama's beloved characters.
As expected, Anne served up a bevy of looks as she embodied Mia Hernandez, her spin on fashionable fairytale author Ko Moon-young, originally played by Korean actress Seo Ye Ji.

The minute-long clip sets the stage for Anne and Joshua's characters as they step into each other's lives. Various scenes showcase her leaning into her eccentricities, which stays true to Moon-young's memorable personality. Notably, this is the it girl's return to the small screen after she starred as the mermaid Dyesebel in 2014.

It comes as no surprise that Anne made the character her own through her wardrobe choices, interpreting Mia with a fresh perspective while also referencing Moon-young's sophisticated taste. Below, we break down each look featured in the teaser, highlighting some of the exact pieces she wore.

As Mia strides through a barrage of fans, she dons an extra large pair of shades with a black frock. Anne seems to have added some Pinoy flair to the ensemble by turning the puff-sleeved dress into a Filipiniana.
