Looks like we're about to see some high-fashion, Filipino-made looks on the show!

The anticipation is in full swing for the upcoming Philippine remake of the hit K-drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Just five months ago, in May 2024, ABS-CBN officially announced that Anne Curtis would step into the role of Mia Hernandez, the Filipino counterpart of Ko Mun-yeong, originally portrayed by Seo Yea Ji.

In case you weren't in on the IOTNBO hype back when it first premiered in 2020, the series follows the story of Ko Mun-yeong, a children’s book author who grapples with her own deep-seated trauma. Known for her reclusive albeit brazen demeanor, fans have also come to love her character's high-fashion outfits, wearing head-turning designer pieces in nearly every scene. Among K-drama fans, Ko Mun-yeong is indubitably a fashion icon.

Recently, Anne took to Instagram Stories to share glimpses of her preparations for her highly anticipated return to the small screen. On Monday, October 28, the Filipino-Australian star documented her visits to two prominent Filipino designers for some fittings.

In the morning, she stopped by Rajo Laurel’s atelier, sharing a photo from the designer’s studio. While nothing's been confirmed yet, the potential for a Rajo Laurel ensemble to grace the show is certainly not slim.

Later that day, Anne visited Vania Romoff, a Cebu-born designer known for her elegant and feminine designs. Needless to say, it's pretty clear that we're about to witness some strong looks on the show! Even Anne seems to be just as excited, captioning the post, "[The] It's Okay To Not Be Okay" looks are going to be soooo [heart eyes emoji]."
