The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 second runner-up (and Preview 2022 Best Dressed honoree!) was an absolute stunner in an event for The Miss Philippines, held at the Enderun Coworking space. In par with the celebration of Filipino ingenuity in cultural heritage, the beauty queen recruited the help of Filipina designer Hannah Adrias, the brain behind her intricate ensemble.
Worn like a second skin, Angelique was clothed in a terno top detailed with molded lace from the décolletage to its signature butterfly sleeves. For her trousers, she went on an experimental route with the designer’s linen-crafted low-waisted pants, accessorized with a distressed, gauzy alampay and tapis.
Her beauty look was also nothing short of striking, as makeup artist Jason Delos Reyes glammed her up in a subtly shimmering blush and dark-toned lids. Angelique’s tresses, on the other hand, were brushed up in an artfully tousled style by the hairstylist Gelo Cibrian.
To top it off, the beauty queen accessorized with a South Sea pearl necklace from Jewelmer, while she slipped on a pair of footwear from local designer Jojo Bragais. Filipino ingenuity, indeed!
