What is AMI Paris?
A brand favored by fashionistas and celebrities for its relaxed yet stylish aesthetic, AMI started in 2011 as the brainchild of founder and creative director Alexandre Mattiussi. Aside from being the French word for "friend," the name AMI actually was a play on his initials!
Inspired greatly by his hometown, AMI epitomizes the chic yet casual, effortless elegance associated with Parisians. They take a friendly—pun intended—approach to luxury by elevating timeless basics with the sartorial savoir-faire Alexandre developed when working under notable maisons such as Dior Homme, Marc Jacobs, and Givenchy, and selling it at a reasonable price point. "I created Ami with this idea of designing clothes for my friends," he told Business of Fashion in 2018.

For their Manila debut, AMI Paris opted for a bright and light-filled boutique on the ground floor of 8 Rockwell. The 74-square-meter space features the brand's revamped store concept and reflects its fresh, timeless, and 100% Parisian brand values.
Embracing natural elements, like oak wood and earth tones, while incorporating touches of gold and brass and AMI's iconic black and white stripes creates an atmosphere that feels both luxe and approachable—a testament to their simple yet sophisticated design philosophy.
The boutique carries the current Fall/Winter 2024 collection and offers the brand's staple menswear, womenswear, and accessories.
