You can easily spot Bea Alonzo from afar—not just for her gorgeous face but for her overall scene-stealing red carpet look. At the ABS-CBN Ball 2019, the actress stepped out in an ebony, asymmetric number by Jun Escario.
Styled by Pam Quiñones of Qurator Studio, Bea's black frock was inspired by the Balintawak dress, a Filipiniana attire traditionally meant for casual and out-of-town affairs back in the olden days. The designer turned it into a red carpet-worthy look by exaggerating the sleeve for extra oomph and using embellished lace for the bodice. The dress also featured a thigh-high slit that furthered her look's sultry vibe.
Meanwhile, for her beauty look, Bea's makeup artist went for a bold fuchsia lip color to complement the red roses adorning her updo—a welcome touch by hairstylist Brent Sales, which lent an alluring feminine vibe to the overall look.
