For the third time, the Committee has hired Francis Libiran to make the uniform of the Philippine team, which they will wear during the opening ceremony of the biennial meet.

Libiran has dubbed his creation “Araw,” which prominently displays the colors of the Philippine flag on an embroidered sun coming down from the left shoulder to the chest. The rays of the sun contain intricate diamond embroidery, while the sun’s rim and the frame around the sun feature tribal patterns.
Libiran showcased his creations during the SEA Games opening ceremony. Just like the Philippine flag, the elements in “Araw” symbolize Filipinos’ liberty, peace, and valor.
In 2019, Libiran designed the national uniform for the 30th SEA Games. It featured a bold design of the Philippine sun emblazoned on the left shoulder running down to the chest. In 2022, Libiran designed “Agila,” which featured an intricate embroidery of the Philippine eagle.
