There’s something about summer sunshine that sparks the fun in our bones, and at a recent lunch with team Kurt Geiger, we discovered that the brand had the same idea, too. Global Sales Manager Nadia Colville told us “I think we’ve had a very tumultuous year, certainly in the West: Trump, Brexit—there’s been a lot of uncertainty. And I think where fashion has been quite simple and minimal for quite a long time, the mood [for this Spring collection] is ‘let’s have a bit of fun,’ ‘let’s be a bit playful.’”
So taking a cue from Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, Kurt Geiger’s creative director, let’s “look at the world through rose-colored glasses,” and the lens of “love, magic and enchantment,” by wearing a veritable party at our feet.
