So cool!

If you’re one of those who have already watched all episodes of Netflix’s recently released XO, Kitty, then you’re in for a treat! (If you haven’t seen the show, you can binge-watch it in a day.) The series was full of surprising twists and a whole lot of fun, but this apparently applies IRL, too. Case in point: It was revealed that Sang Heon Lee and Gia Kim, who play Min Ho and Yuri, are actually siblings!

XO, Kitty is a spinoff of the hit romantic comedy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It follows the story of Kitty (Anna Cathcart), the youngest of the Covey Family, as she studies in South Korea for college to be closer to her long-distance boyfriend and to discover more about her mother’s roots.

Yuri (Gia Kim), is the epitome of the collegiate It Girl, oozing with confidence and style. Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) is the stereotypical arrogant student (or so he seems to be).

Choi Min Young, who plays Kitty's boyfriend Dae, shared in an interview that the cast only learned about their relationship through their group chat! Apparently, Sang Heon had created a group chat and asked to add his sister, which baffled everyone.

“I was like, 'What?' Of course, I want to meet my cast's family too, but not on the first day and not in our first meeting," Choi shared with the magazine.

"[Then] Sang Heon was like, 'Oh, actually, she's playing Yuri.' And then I was like, 'What?!'"

How interesting it must have been for Sang Heon and Gia to work alongside each other! Although this tidbit might be a shocker for most, eagle-eyed netizens must have spotted the clues on Instagram: their bios both have the Hong Kong and South Korean flags, and on one of Gia’s posts, she credited the photo to her brother.

We wonder what other trivia we’ll be discovering next! Catch XO, Kitty now streaming on Netflix.
