If you've been a long-time fan of Francine Diaz, then you'd already know that she's not the type to respond to her bashers online. While the teen actress has spoken up about bullying and body-shaming in the past, she never addresses mean comments directly.
For Francine, however, silence doesn't always mean weakness. In her latest YouTube vlog with Seth Fedelin, Francine reacted to negative comments from her haters and explained why she chooses to simply ignore them.
Francine then emphasized that it's a waste of time to defend yourself from someone whoâs determined to judge you unfairly. "Tapos 'pag 'di nila na-gets, siyempre explain mo ulit. Siyempre, 'di nila ma-ge-gets kasi nga close-minded sila. So ngayon, hindi na ako nag-e-explain kasi hindi naman nila iintindihin," she shared.
"Kumbaga, you listen to understand, hindi you listen para lang lumabas sa isang tenga mo. Kailangan marunong kang makinig at marunong kang umintindi," she added. Very well-said!"
Afterwards, she also replied to a comment that mistook her silence as 'bait-baitan lang." Wala namang perpekto sa mundong 'to.
As Francine knows that she can't be perfect, she's simply focused on learning from her mistakes and trying to be the best possible version of herself. "[Kung] biglang meron akong nagawa na hindi ako aware na hindi pala okay sa inyo or mali âyung pagakabasa niyo sa galaw ko or sinabi ko, [it] doesn't mean na masama akong tao or bait-baitan. It's just that hindi ako perpekto and I try my best," she concluded."
We couldn't agree with you more, Francine!
