What Is the “Celebrity Number Six” Mystery About?
Lost media, a term designated to content believed to no longer exist in any format, has been a subject of interest for many internet users, with its intrigue highly concentrated on Reddit. One such famous case is the search for “Celebrity Number Six,” which began in January 2020 when user u/TonstaH inquired about the eight figures featured on a piece of curtain fabric from 2008, where each celebrity was rendered in pop art style.
Users have been able to identify the personalities, including Ian Somerhalder, Josh Holloway, Adriana Lima (who appeared twice), Travis Fimmel, Orlando Bloom, and Jessica Alba. However, many were left stumped by one, who was later coined as “Celebrity Number Six.”
The five-year-long search resulted in many throwing in several Hollywood names, such as Angelina Jolie, Olivia Wilde, and even a young Brad Pitt. However, in September 2024, the hunt met its conclusion when users confirmed the identity of Celebrity Number Six: Leticia Sardá, a former model based in Spain.

Who Is Leticia Sarda? Facts About the Spanish Model Known as “Celebrity Number Six”
1. Leticia Sarda started modeling at the age of 13.
Leticia, who is 44 years old in 2024, made her first foray into the modeling and fashion world at the young age of 13. The former model told Vanity Fair Spain that she had already lived alone in Milan, Italy when she was 16 years old. From there, she continued to travel around Europe for work, heading to Madrid and settling in Barcelona. Leticia worked as a model until 2009 when she was almost 30.
2. She used to model for brands like Burberry.
The former model fronted ads and glossy spreads for big-name labels during her time in the scene, including British luxury brand Burberry in 1999, which she shot with actors Tom Welling and Ian Somerhalder—the latter, a celebrity who was also featured in Reddit’s famous fabric.
Aside from the luxury label, Leticia was also found in campaigns for L'Oréal and Levi’s, alongside European brands.
3. Her famous “Celebrity Number Six” photo was taken for a women’s magazine.
After much digging from internet sleuths, the years-long search for “Celebrity Number Six” found its conclusion, leading to Reddit user u/StefanMorse finding issue no. 162 of Woman magazine, which hit newsstands in Spain in March 2006. The issue’s trends supplement featured a cover that looked similar to the model’s features in the fabric, which later led to Reddit user u/IndigoRoom doing some digging of their own.
The user contacted Barcelona-based photographer Leandre Escorsell on his website, who confirmed it: He had taken the photo, and it was indeed a model named Leticia Sardá. Case closed!
4. She wasn’t aware of the search for “Celebrity Number Six” until recently.
While much of the internet was on the hunt for Leticia for a good five years, the former model hadn’t been aware of the search until recently. According to her Vanity Fair Spain interview, she was contacted by a stranger for help in locating the photo, although she didn’t think much of it at that time.
In her locale, people have already started to approach her. “Two people have already stopped me in the street to offer to manage my social networks,” she said in the interview, as translated from Spanish. “I was leaving work in cholas [flip-flops], in shorts and with a messy bun, so I told them I wasn't ready for this.”
5. She left the fashion scene and now works in the hospitality industry.
The former model left the fashion industry before the 2010s. In Vanity Fair, Leticia cites a time when her grandmother fell ill, which prompted her to return home with the thought that she would be taking a long vacation. According to Leticia, she was battling her “inner demons” and was “very lonely” at the time.
Around that moment in her life, Leticia fled to South Africa, which she considered a “paradise.” The former model realized that she wanted to prioritize her family, friends, and stability more, as she decided to settle down with a family. She later separated from her spouse, and now works in the hotel and catering industry in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain.
