She is a single mother to three kids: Jacqueline, Jameson, and Jessica. As a teenager, Alice asked her parents if she could study engineering for college, but they had expected her to go into law or medicine. Her mother, Elisa, specifically wanted her to become a nurse or doctor. Instead, she chose to study business administration at the University of Santo Tomas.

Alice comes from a well-off family in Nueva Ecija, one that has a number of businesses from rice milling, trading, and garment exports to a family-owned bowling alley. Her heart, however, has always been in engineering, which is why she decided to start her own construction company.
Alice had her first break into the world of construction in the '90s when she was encouraged by the office of Concrete Aggregates, to whom she supplied rice, to supply them with steel splices.

7. Her company is responsible for building SM Mall of Asia
Just when she thought her company would go under during the Asian Crisis, it was SM Mall Of Asia that brought her company back to life. She bagged the contract to build its substructure, and with a commitment of only six months, she stayed true to her words. Since then, Alice helped build other SM establishments such as the SM Arena, SMDC condominiums, which then led to Entertainment City–building the foundations for Solaire, City of Dreams, Okada, and Newport World Resorts.
8. She has an $8-million mansion in Los Angeles
Alice’s Beverly Hills mansion is a staple in her sister Small's vlogs. According to a listing, she bought the 8,522-square-foot mansion in 2013 for $8,275,000 or roughly P465 million. The house consists of five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a double-sided staircase (where the family loves to have their pictures taken), a two-story living room, a large formal dining room, dining room, family room, gourmet kitchen, powder room, complete with French doors all throughout.
