Organizations from differents parts of the country are joining forces to help with disaster relief efforts.

Typhoon Kristine has left multiple areas in the country under a state of calamity following its landfall. Reports also say that rescue efforts have been hastened to reach stranded individuals faster. Meanwhile, some affected families are also already in evacuation centers across the country.

The onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine has affected over 2.3 million Filipinos and displaced over 250, 000 people so far, based from reports. Because of this, mixed efforts from local government units, non-government organizations, and even the private sector have been pouring in. Multiple donation drives have been put in place and more have opened their doors to aid those in need.

But in case you're worried you don't have that much cash to share at the moment, there are also various efforts that accept volunteers and also donations in kind, like brand-new or used clothing.

Where You Can Donate Clothes To Typhoon Kristine Victims

1. South Trading Post

Partnering with Angat Buhay foundation, South Trading Post will be accepting in-kind donations, including brand-new or used clothing (that are sanitized and in usable condition) at the G Studios from October 25 to 30 and November 4 to 17 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

For those from the northern part of Metro Manila, in-kind donations will be accepted directly at the Museo ng Pag-asa.

2. Tulong Kabataan PH Disaster Response Center

Tulong Kabataan PH Disaster Response Center has also opened up more drop-off locations for in-kind donations, where they also accept blankets and clothing, among others.

3. Akbayanihan Foundation

Akbayanihan Foundation is giving help to those affected in Bicol and Quezon by accepting both cash and in-kind donations (including clothing) in Barangay Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.

4. Youth Ambassadors of Albay

The Youth Ambassadors of Albay is a testament that helping does not have a minimum age requirement. This initiative is accepting donations of cash and in-kind at the Governor Guest House near Bicol University.

5. The Kindness Station

The Kindness Station is accpeting clean and dry clothes, among others, to donate to Sorsoganons in need.

Another effort set up by students, the Bicol University Student Council is accepting both monetary and in-kind donations. These include clothing and hygiene kits.

Various student organizations across the University of the Philippines system have set up both in-cash and in-kind donation drives and relief operations.

8. Rizal Technological University

Rizal Technological University is one of the many educational institutions that has shown initiative by setting up relief operations for victims of Typhoon Kristine in Bicol. Among the donations they accept are blankets and wearable used clothing.
