Congratulations on getting married, Siobhan! Can you tell us what the special day was like?
"Thank you! It was a very special day for us. We woke up early to go to City Hall. It was a cold and rainy morning in New York City, which is apparently good luck! My mom flew from the Philippines to be there as our witness."

"The energy at City Hall was amazing. There were other couples getting married and taking photos which I thought was cute. Afterwards, we had brunch at a restaurant in the West Village called Pastis. We had steak and fries and mimosas. It was the perfect day!"
Was there any reason why you chose to get married in New York?
"We chose to get married in New York because it’s our favorite city. The energy in New York is unmatched. And I happened to have moved to NYC for work. We got married two weeks after I moved so it felt like a fresh and exciting new beginning for Christian and I."

We loved your bridal outfit! Could you tell us about the exact pieces you wore, and why you chose them?
"My dress is from a brand called Rotate. I ordered it only a couple days before we got married. We had just moved to New York so I was busy unpacking and setting up my apartment; I didn’t even think about getting a dress until the last minute. Luckily, I found this cute dress online. It’s short and simple and has a huge bow on the back which I thought was really fun. The day before [our wedding], I bought white tights to complete the look, and paired it with white kitten heels I thrifted (with bows on the front too)."

What inspired your wedding outfit? Did you add any personal/sentimental touches to make it unique?
"I just wanted to wear something simple and unserious—just like [how we wanted] our ceremony. We wanted [our wedding] to be casual and relaxed. I thought the giant bow on my dress was unique and playful, which I thought contrasted the nature of getting married in a government facility.
The most sentimental part of my outfit was probably my bouquet. My mom bought the flowers from Columbus Circle, and arranged it the night before with one of her best friends. I thought that was very special."

"I don’t think I can pick [just] one memorable moment. The whole day was amazing and truly memorable. The energy in City Hall was so bright, even on a gloomy day. My mom being there was very important for me too. And that night, we had a party with some of our closest friends. We made the theme “Saltburn Chic." I was pleasantly surprised by how much effort people put into their outfits. The whole day was so much fun."

Congratulations, Siobhan and Christian!
