Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto caught the attention of his constituents with his most recent TikTok upload, albeit for a completely different reason. While he had the best of intentions while addressing his viewers, they couldn't help but poke fun at his phone camera's seemingly compromised quality.

In his video, Mayor Vico explains his initiatives to give out early Christmas goods to residents around the city. His caption reads "Totoo bang mas konti ang trolls dito sa Tiktok?" which also incited some giggles.
However, most netizens found more glee in pointing out the video's blurry and shakey appearance. "Dami kong magandang sinabi, pinagtatawanan niyo phone ko!!" the Mayor quipped in response.

TikTok users certainly had a field day in the Mayor's comments section. "Nanginginig pa 'yan habang nag-re-record," one speculated. Another compared his video quality to that of a video call from a computer shop.
A number of viewers assumed that Mayor Vico was making the most out of the CCTV camera they had at the Pasig City Hall. Got to maximize those resources, you know!
"Hindi kaya nung 2010 mo pa to kinuhanan at ngayon mo lang in-upload?" another asked in jest.
Concerned citizens were offering help to the Mayor, with one lending him their phone since "wala naman akong silbi sa bayan." Another was willing to let him borrow their credit card to purchase a better device.
One netizen guessed that Mayor Vico was using an old-timey Nokia 6600 to record his reel, and was impressed that it still works. Another asked if he was using a Samsung Champ, to which he replied, "Ano yun, burger?" LOL!
Coincidentally enough, tech brand GadgetMatch saw Mayor Vico's viral video and offered him a list of budget phones for him to try out.
