This pottery studio frequented by celebs expanded into a cafe in 2023. The Wabi Cafe serves a standard, no-frills menu made up of the classics: Iced Americano, White Mocha, Cappuccino, Flat White, etc. Situated right next to their workshops, customers can observe classes while enjoying their cup of Joe in Wabi Sabi’s signature handmade mugs. Once you’ve had your fill of window-watching, you can enlist in their studio too, and have a go at crafting a quirky cup of your own.

2. Cafe B.O.M.

If you love taking aesthetic Instagram photos at cafes, this spot takes things up a notch. At Cafe B.O.M., you can get your photos professionally taken inside their studio. All you’ll need is the receipt from your food or drink order and you’ve got a photoshoot to your name. The concept was inspired by Korean studio cafes, and it shows in their beverage menu with drinks like Sweet Potato Latte and Dalgona Latte. They also have a variety of frappes, smoothies, teas, and fresh ades to choose from. Should you want a hearty meal before striking a pose, you can accompany your drinks with their selection of pizza, pasta, and sandwiches.

Take you barkada out on a nostalgic cinema experience at The Director’s Cafe. For a total order of P300 from their cafe downstairs, you’ll earn one movie pass to use their second-floor theater, which can accommodate up to 12 people. Completing the old-school experience is their collection of CDs and DVDs to choose from. If you want to make it an official viewing party exclusive to you and your company, you can book their theater in advance. Just make sure to call in a few days before to secure your time slot.

5. Kapinta—Coffee, Tea & Tattoo

One visit to Kapinta Cafe and you’re likely to come out a changed person, quite literally. Apart from offering a delectable menu of food and beverages set to the scenery of their al fresco terrace, they’re also a one-stop shop for your tattoo needs. You can get a minimum-sized, black-and-white ink for P1500, and a colored one for P2000. Getting a tattoo is a big (and permanent) decision so they’ve got a portfolio of their work ready for browsing online in case you want to see samples first.
