Looks like we'll be hearing "irasshaimase" along with the usual "welcome to Uniqlo" when we enter the brand's flagship store soon! A few weeks ago, we got word that Uniqlo would be opening its Uniqlo Coffee concept at their Global Flagship Store in Makati. And we couldn't be more excited because we definitely need the caffeine to power us through all the shopping we do at their stores.

The coffee spot offshoot is slated to open on October 13, Friday, just in time for the brand's fifth anniversary. And it looks like the brand is just as excited as we are because Uniqlo Coffee just dropped their café menu.

Here's what we know about Uniqlo Coffee's menu:

True to their Japanese sensibilities, Uniqlo Coffee's menu is a minimalist, no-fuss list of your café usuals. The new coffee concept presents a mix of both Japanese and Filipino palates by featuring drinks, pastries, and eats pulled from both cultures.

On the menu are the basic espresso-based drinks like the Americano, Caffe Latte, and the Filipino-favorite Spanish Latte. All of these are made from Mt. Apo coffee beans, which the brand has sourced directly from their local partner farmers.

Meanwhile, non-coffee drinkers can rest easy as they have Hot Chocolate on deck for you.

Of course, no café experience would be complete without the nibbles. Uniqlo Coffee features a range of pastries—both sweet and savory—that pair well with their drink lineup. The current menu release teases a selection of Cookies, a Smoked Salmon Panini, a classic Filipino Pan de Sal, and a Japanese An Pan, a.k.a, Red Bean bread.

It is unclear whether these eight will be the only menu items on the offshoot café, but we're definitely excited. Imagine getting a cup of joe and a snack after a long shopping spree—sounds like a great day for us!

While Uniqlo Coffee is new to the Philippine space, back in 2021, Uniqlo debuted their first café-type offshoot at their global flagship store in Ginza.

Uniqlo's Global Flagship store is at Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City. For more information, check out Uniqlo Philippines' Facebook page.
