By now you’re probably aware of our not-so-secret love affair with Korean dramas here at Preview HQ. In fact, one of the most recent ones we’ve binge-watched led us to a fascinating discovery: Go Bo Gyeol, a supporting actress from the romantic comedy miniseries Go Back Couple, has an uncanny resemblance to local celebrity Maris Racal!

Go Back Couple, starring Jang Na Ra and Son Ho Joon, tells the story of a divorced couple who wake up one morning to find themselves back in the past before they met and fell in love. In the drama, Bo Gyeol plays Min Seo Yeong, a ballerina and the lead actor’s first love. She’s talented, soft-spoken, and basically the personification of the popular pretty girl everyone had a crush on when you were in college. Truth be told, we couldn’t help but be reminded of Maris in more ways than one whenever she appeared on-screen.

While Maris’ morena glow and Bo Gyeol’s porcelain white skin are easily distinguishable, one can’t deny the resemblances between their facial features and expressions, especially when they smile. Maris’ eyebrows are a little more arched, too, compared to Bo Gyeol’s Korean-style straight brows. Still, there’s something strikingly similar between the two—and apparently, even the internet has taken notice:
