City folks’ idea of a weekend staycation will often point to Cavite. From Tagaytay to Silang, there’s always a little bit of something for everyone. Still, if you’re searching for the rest and relaxation experience, then The Park - Silang is the place to be, especially if you're into glamping.
The Park is the perfect setting to be one with nature while remaining in the comforts of a hotel stay. You’ll almost forget you’re just an hour’s drive from Metro Manila.
LOOK: The Park Silang Resort in Cavite
The Park boasts a range of accommodations to suit every guest's preference. Those who want the comfort and reliability of a typical hotel room can opt for any of the following: Standard Room (P4,270), Deluxe Room (P7,200), Superior Room (P7,200), Premium Room (P8,700), Junior Suite (P9,500), Executive Suite (P9,500), Premium Suite (P13,500), and the 2-BR Family Suite (P13,500). Room sizes can reach up to 84 square meters.
Fancy for something a little more adventurous? There are three modern glamping options to choose from: The Safari Couple (P9,250), The Soft (P13,000), and The Boutique (P20,800).
Thanks to the glass windows that make the entire wall, you have full sight of the outdoors even if you choose to stay in. The bigger rooms also have a private balcony with a hot tub. This bubbling tub is always set to the perfect temperature—warm enough to dip in at night without feeling humid from the heat.
Rates are inclusive of a Filipino breakfast based on occupancy. Not a morning person? You can have your breakfast served in the room—with unlimited coffee to boot. Just make a call at the reception to give the staff a heads up on this preferred arrangement.
There are plenty of resort facilities to keep busy on the premises. They have a pool for everything: adult lap, kiddie, indoor, and outdoor. Do note that wearing proper swimming attire will be strictly imposed.
Don’t have a private hot tub in your room? No worries, there’s a communal one to make up for it. You can also go to the gym after a refreshing swim.
Another way to roam the resort is to be on two wheels. You can find several bicycles for rent in the lobby near the reception. Bicycles can be taken outside of The Park if you hope to burn more calories on the streets.
Enough of strenuous activities. Hungry? Dine al fresco at The Park’s restaurant, Makan Gourmet, which is a Filipino restaurant, café, and bar in one. It’s on the second floor, overlooking the pool and the outdoor theater, so eating is always an entertaining experience. Plus, they're generous with servings.
Most resort facilities usually close early in the evening, but The Park is extending the fun into the night by offering unique experiences such as bonfires and movie marathons so that guests can enjoy more time out under the stars. The bonfire is small, but it's enough to warm and cook s'mores for a large group of people. Cap the night with drinks from Makan Gourmet and an outdoor movie theater experience by the pool.
The Park - Silang is at Phase 3 Richland Hills, Barangay Puting Kahoy, Silang, Cavite. Rates start at P4,270. For more information, visit The Park - Silang’s website.
