The ballroom scene is alive and kicking in the Philippines! For the uninitiated, the ballroom we're talking about is an LGBTQIA+ subculture where houses participate in different categories in the pursuit of the most trophies and cash prizes. Tracing its origins back to the underground of New York City, the ballroom community seeks to celebrate their wildest fantasies through spirited competition and over-the-top ensembles.

What You Need to Know About The Glory Kiki Ball
The Glory Ball will be held at the 500 Shaw Events Pavillion, with the open house happening at 5 p.m.

Aside from the main competition, The Glory Ball will also be providing free HIV testing and PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), care of HIV & AIDS Support House Inc.
Audience members are asked to come in their best regalia in hues of black, red, or gold. Unlimited drinks will be available from 7 p.m. onwards. See you there!
