Here's what some of them are up to these days.

Remember the time when weekends were made for watching youth-oriented shows? The drama we saw and the kilig the we felt helped us look forward to our teenage years. Most of these stars in Gimik, G-Mik, T.G.I.S., Click, and Berks continued their showbiz careers but some chose to leave showbiz. If you're curious about those former celebs, we investigated to find out what they're up to now. Check out our list below:

Kim delos Santos

Kim was paired up with Dino Guevarra in the GMA-7 teen-oriented show T.G.I.S. She eventually married her co-star in 2002. They split in 2004, and Kim flew to the U.S. She detailed in an interview that she struggled to take odd jobs at first. "I had no college degree so I started from the bottom up. As in talagang gapang," she shared. She is now a nurse and is studying a psychiatric nursing course to help patients who are facing mental health issues.

Kim had her marriage annulled in 2010.

 

Maybelyn dela Cruz

Maybelyn played Maruja in T.G.I.S., and Rosario, leader of the barkada in Click. After that, she appeared in several GMA drama series in the early 2000s. She married Dagupan politician Michael Fernandez on January 20, 2008. She also got involved in politics as a city councilor in 2010.

She quit showbiz in 2015, but she returned in 2021 in a Wish Ko Lang guesting and as the main villain in GMA teleserye, Unica Hija.

 

Tricia Roman

Tricia first appeared in ABS-CBN teleserye Esperanza where she played Erika Seguia. But she became a household name when she joined Click in 1999 as Issa. She had supporting roles in several teleseryes, and eventually left showbiz and got married in 2007.

She is now a mom of two kids and looks like she didn't age at all!

 

Karen delos Reyes

She was first spotted in a heartwarming Mcdonald's ad where she played the paboritong apo, Karen. She used Karen as her screen name but retained her real last name. She was in Click from 2002 to 2004 and played Weng. After her stint in Click, she appeared in TV dramas, and took on kontrabida roles in Mulawin and Darna.

During the period she wasn't in TV projects, she studied a course in Photography at the College of St. Benilde. We saw her return in 2009 in Stairway to Heaven and Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.

She became a mom in 2017 to Gabriel Lucas, and frequently shares their cute moments on her Instagram account.

Her latest TV appearance was in Wish Ko Lang on June 17, 2023. She also works as a freelance TV commercial director.

 

Angelene Aguilar

Angelene was in G-Mik Book 2 as Bea, the girlfriend of Miko Samson who plays Tonsy. She also appeared in a supporting role in another youth-oriented TV show, Tabing Ilog. Angelene was one of the leads in all-girl barkada of K2BU, where she stars with Bea Alonzo, Pia Wurtzbach, and Shaina Magdayao.

According to her Facebook page, she is now based in the U.S., and works as a Senior Creative Manager. She is also engaged to her boyfriend.

Sarah Christophers

Sarah was in Berks (2003), where she starred with Heart Evangelista, Angelica Panganiban, and John Prats. She left showbiz in 2004 and migrated to Australia. But she flew back to the Philippines when she attended Heart's wedding in Balesin in 2015 (they're close friends!). When Pep asked if she plans to go back to showbiz, she replied, "Never say never!"
