When we think of themed cafes, the likes of Harry Potter and Hello Kitty come to mind. Now, Taylor Swift’s cultural impact has entered this scene—just take a look at this cozy little café in Cagayan de Oro.
Taylor Swift-inspired cafés aren’t exactly new (see: Wiltlover Cafe) but no one else has been more explicit with the love of Taylor Swift than this new one that has just popped up at the start of this month.
Aptly named Willow Cafe, this Swiftie haven invites you to step inside a world where being a fan isn’t just accepted, but celebrated through food and drinks. No The Eras Tour tickets required here. Willow Cafe was on soft opening just this past week but the place is already packed with fans in every nook and canny.

Each wall is a canvas, painted with giant murals of Taylor Swift’s album covers. From Speak Now to Midnights, the artworks pay homage to every phase of Taylor’s career. We know, we know: there's a lack of Debut and Fearless representation in the café, but at least they used Taylor’s Version for everything!
Taylor Swift's music videos also play on the TV screen, bringing visitors into her world of story-telling through song.
It’s not just the atmosphere that’s worth fangirling over, either. Willow Cafe has a full menu from fries to ramen to cakes. Soda and smoothies are Taylor Swift-inspired, where Lover is strawberry, Cruel Summer is kiwi, Debut is green apple, Speak Now is blueberry and 1989 is raspberry.
Willow Cafe is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday to Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday to Sunday. They’ll also offer Wi-Fi soon, so it’s great for catching up on work while sipping on a Taylor Swift-inspired concoction.
Whether you're a hardcore fan or simply seeking a new cafe to lounge in, Willow Cafe will turn ordinary coffee breaks into a serenade, one song at a time.
