Interested to see what’s in store at Tanqueray Terrace for the next few weeks? Here’s the sched below!
Week 1 (March 11): Pacifico Summer
For its first weekend and grand launch, Tanqueray Terrace tapped local clothing Neon Island and its founders Aira Medina and Chi Gibbs, who brought their vibrant and tropical energy into an immersive workshop with guests, where they painted their own glassware piece.
On the mixology side of things, the duo was joined by seasoned bar professional David Abalayan and Diageo brand ambassador Rian Asiddao, who conceptualized bespoke T&Ts inspired by the brand’s collaborators. Joining the group was Gabs Gibbs, who dabbled in styling the cocktail alongside Rian.
Week 2 (March 18): Definitive Flavors
Those who missed the first weekend need not be worried, as the next days are still jam-packed with epicurean events. Fashion and beauty illustrator Soleil Ignacio joins David Abalayan on March 18, where they’ll be fusing their artistic know-how into a sensorial experience. For this workshop, Soleil will get to the nitty-gritty of crafting beautiful designs to decorate the Copa glass, while David will be making his special concoctions to help guests dive deeper into the session.
Week 3 (March 25): Native Floras
For its third week, John Nofiel–a.k.a. Alaga at Sining–will take cues from his celebrated work of local flora and fauna in styling botanical-inspired Copa glasses. Meanwhile, internationally renowned bartender Lester Ligon will also take part, as he’ll work his magic on a custom cocktail based on John’s design.
Week 4 (April 1): A Botanical Journey
The final week ends with a bang, with visual artist Anina Rubio joining guest bartender Claude Delima, as they lead guests to a different round of the Copa glass painting workshop. Inspired by Anina’s nature and conservation-centric oeuvre, visitors will take on a one-of-a-drink-experience with Claude’s unique cocktail creation that’ll complement her new masterpiece.
