The HBO Max original will also be available to stream here in the Philippines through HBO Go. Yup, the new take on the Upper East Side kids drops on Thursday, July 8, premiering the same time as the U.S.

What is the Gossip Girl reboot about?
The reboot picks up nine years after the Gossip Girl blog went dark. We're back to meet a new generation of New York City private school kids who face up to a new type of social surveillance (Read: Gossip Girl, but this time armed with social media).
To emphasize the change in times, Gossip Girl won't just be some blog in this reboot, it'll be an "all-encompassing social media platform," says Cosmopolitan. The creators also teased a major twist—so major, they literally didn't say anything other than the fact there will be one. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
