Before earning the title as the "Kings of P-Pop," the members of SB19 each had their fair share of highs and lows. Their vocalist and choreographer Stell Ajero, for one, went through a phase of job-hopping before finding his place as a performer. In a recent event hosted by McDonald's, he shares that he actually used to work as a service crew member for the fast food chain.

Stell of SB19 on Working as a McDonald's Service Crew Member
The musical quintet was recently added to the roster of McDonald's celebrity endorsers. When asked why they find themselves drawn to the brand, Stell candidly recalls how he was actually an employee of theirs in the past. "Bakit ko binabalik-balikan ang McDo? Siguro naman, a lot of you know na naging crew [member] ako... Nagpa-package ako," he shared.

Stell fondly looks back on his time as a service crew member, emphasizing how the restaurant has given him so many core memories. "Every time na binabalik-balikan ko 'yung memory na 'yun, naaalala ko lahat ng hardships, lahat ng mga nangyari sa akin before," he narrates.
"And now, looking [back] at it, [madaming] memories na bumabalik. Bukod sa good food, good memories din po 'yung bumabalik."
Stell remembers how he collected toys that came with some of McDo's meals but was unable to complete his favorite set due to a lack of budget. Now that he's an ambassador for the brand, the Preview Best Dressed 2024 awardee attests to the full-circle moment he's had with McDonald's. "Grabe 'yung 360 (degree turn), from crew, tapos ngayon endorser," he expresses in awe.
