Seoul in South Korea is always top of mind for Filipinos. It's the home of everything we love: K-Drama, K-Pop, and all the other interesting things in the Hallyu Wave. And to make things a bit easier for travelers flying to this country, South Korea announced that they're finally dropping the pre-departure RT-PCR test requirements. This new rule was in effect on September 3.
The latest South Korea travel requirements:
"All tourists coming into Korea will no longer be required to submit a negative test result, but post-entry PCR Test on the first day in Korea (until 23:59 of the next day after arrival) will continue until further notice," their official announcement said. They also reminded that "all travelers are advised to stay in their accommodation after taking their PCR test at the airport screening facility until they receive a negative test result."
South Korea reopened their borders to fully vaccinated travelers on April 1.
