Lee Si An, a contestant on Netflix's Single's Inferno Season 4, is facing legal action from her agency, Leaders Entertainment, for allegedly breaching her contract. The agency announced last Tuesday, January 21, that they have filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star, citing violations of her exclusive agreement.

“Lee Si An has violated the terms and conditions of her exclusive contract. We will be responding with legal action,” Leaders Entertainment stated in a report by South Korean news site Soompi.
According to the agency, they began managing Lee Si An's career in August 2023. In April 2024, as discussions for her appearance on Single's Inferno 4 progressed, both parties agreed to extend her contract—originally set to expire on October 25, 2024—by an additional 18 months. Si An signed the agreement in May 2024 and filmed the show in June. However, in August, shortly after filming concluded, she expressed her desire to terminate the contract, stating she would continue activities only until October 21, 2024.
"This is a violation of both her exclusive contract and the supplemental agreement extending her contract," the agency shared, expressing its disappointment. "Lee Si An’s objections lack evidence. We have secured a great deal of evidence and are currently in the process of taking legal action."
Leaders Entertainment concluded, "Disregarding her contract and unilaterally announcing her plans to halt activities after appearing on ‘Single’s Inferno 4’ is a deception of both our agency and the show’s production team. We will attempt to stop similar cases from reoccurring in the future.”
As of writing, Lee Si An has yet to issue a statement regarding the matter.
