Actress Shin Hyun Bin might be joining Song Joong Ki in a new drama, and we’re already all ears.
According to the Hospital Playlist star’s agency, Yooborn Company, Hyun Bin is reviewing an offer to star in the JTBC series Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son. If you’re an avid follower of K-drama news, then you’ll know it’s the same show Joong Ki is also currently considering.

The revenge drama will follow Jin Do-joon, a man who’s murdered by the same chaebol family he’s been loyal to for the past 10 years. When he’s reborn again as the family’s youngest son, he sets out to take vengeance by eventually taking over their business.
If he agrees to lead the show, Joong Ki will play Do-joon, alongside Hyun Bin who’s been offered the role of Seo Min-young, a determined prosecutor who works at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. The type of person to break the law if it means getting justice, Min-young will reportedly have a love-hate relationship with Do-joon.
Apart from starring as Jang Gyeo-ul on Hospital Playlist, Hyun Bin has also appeared in dramas like Mistress (2018) and Confession (2019). She’s also a recognized talent who won the Best New Actress award at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance in the comedy drama movie He’s on Duty.
Filming for Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son is scheduled for the latter half of this year, with director Jung Dae Yoon (She Was Pretty, I’m Not a Robot) at the helm.
