Born on March 23, 1992, her birthday falls in between the zodiac signs Aries and Pisces. Called a "cusp" in astrology, those born in between dates have traits from both signs although she identifies more as an Aries.
2. Her first big break in showbiz is a toss-up between "Ningning" and "My Dear Heart."
Somewhat a late bloomer, actress Sylvia Sanchez' daughter didn't enter showbiz until after getting her degree. While it was Ningning that introduced her to the public, it was My Dear Heart that challenged her and made her grow as an actor.
3. She is a Filipina with some Spanish and American heritage from her grandparents of both sides.
Speaking of her genealogy, Ria's distinct looks can be attributed to a mix of different heritages.
4. She enjoys tennis and swimming.

Be it moving in 5-minute intervals or avoiding to hit the snooze button, Ria is very particular with time. "I know how valuable time is, so I try to be very good with time especially when there are other people invovled," she explains.
7. She has photic sneeze reflex.
Did you know? There is a condition where exposure to bright light leads to sneezing. Known as the photic sneeze reflex, Ria had to fight off involuntary sneezing during our shoot because it's her body's automatic response to sunlight.
8. Her favorite book is "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides.

With everything that's happening and will be happening, it's easy to take things for granted—not for Ria, though. She considers the possibilities that open up for her as her biggest inspiration to do more and live more.
10. She's obsessed with the Drag Race franchise.
Ria lit up when she started talking about Drag Race and her favorite queens. It turns out that she's a big fan of the series! Locally, she counts Drag Race PH Season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole as her favorite. And bonus fun fact: their company co-produced Precious' concert with the Divine Divas.
