Find out which hotels in the country made it to the prestigious list!

The MICHELIN Guide is where the world looks for recommendations on where to dine. Hence, Michelin-starred restaurants across the globe always get the most advanced bookings and longest queues. It can be a Kyoto hole-in-the-wall famed for its simple-but-done-right ramen bowl or a nondescript restaurant in the middle of nowhere that serves an artistically plated and innovative dish using a backyard-grown ingredient—if it lands in the Michelin Guide, it will be the next destination.

But apart from where to eat, The Michelin Guide also has recommendations on where to stay. And you'd be happy to know there are now six establishments in the Philippines that will pop up when you look for hotel recommendations on the Michelin website. We list them down below!

It comes as no surprise that the luxury resort Amanpulo is part of The MICHELIN Guide's 2024 hotel recommendations—the name itself has become synonymous with quality as fine as the sand on its beach. The resort nestled on the Pamalican Island is the preferred hideaway for celebs and VIPs where they get to stay in luxurious casitas and villas, and get to do activities like scuba diving, kite surfing, and cruises.

Meanwhile, Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan in Cebu is the place for a quietly lavish holiday. This property has 40 villas and 250 guest rooms, a three-tiered infinity pool, and a private beach. There are even therapy rooms. Now, if you're going to Siargao and want more private luxury than budget-friendly backpacking hostels, there's Nay Palad Hideaway (formerly Dedon Island Resort) located on the island's southern coast.

But if you don't want to go far, three hotels in Metro Manila are MICHELIN-recommended. There's The Peninsula Manila with its old-world opulence; boutique hotel Admiral Hotel Manila - MGallery with its rooftop overlooking Manila Bay (it's also where the Ruby Wong speakeasy is located); and there's Japanese luxury hotel Hotel Okura that is well-known for its fine-dining restaurant Yamazato.

For those wondering, there are no Philippine-based Michelin-starred restaurants-but there are Michelin-starred Filipino restaurants in other countries, most of which can be found in the United States.
