Who needs a house and lot in one of the city's most expensive villages when you can buy a private island for the same price? Before we get ahead of ourselves, here are 7 private islands in the Philippines you can buy right now.

Size: 20,000 square meters
Let's start with something small and cheap. (If you're looking at private islands, that is.) Cornered by Coron and Bugur Island, Sand Island is a two-hectare "idyllic island with sandy beaches." Not only is it a manageable size, it's also only 20 minutes away from Coron by speedboat.
2. Double Island, P152 million
Size: 8.2 hectares
Double Island is tucked away in Quezon, Palawan, an area known for its sandy beaches and crystalline waters. If you want all that space to yourself, you're in luck as there's already huts on the island which you can move in to ASAP.
3. Coconil Island, P70 million
Size: 250,000 square meters
Located in Linapacan, Palawan, Coconil Island is mostly all hill which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your preferences. Still, it has plenty of beautiful beach coves.

Size: 27 hectares
You probably already know of Fortune Island. It's that Batangas island everyone goes to to take photos with the Grecian pillars and statues as a backdrop. It already has a resort development, too, which is always a plus.

Located in Calauag, Quezon, Pasig Island is your standard white-sand-crystal-clear-water island. But what separates it from the others on the list is that it has a cool sand bar.
6. Dao Island (West Nalaut Island), price available upon request
Size: 47.9 hectares
At 47.9 hectares, it's easy to understand why Dao Island's price is restricted to serious buyers. It had to be included, though, since it's very, very rare for large islands to be titled with secure tenure. Plus, there's no shortage of white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and tropical forestry on and around the island.
7. Apo Island, P3.6 billion
Size: 868.8 hectares
If you thought islands for sale couldn't get bigger than Dao Island, then you thought wrong. Case in point: Apo Island, an island that's over four times the size of Monaco. Buying Apo gives you access to tons of greenery, as well as land rich with the mineral manganese.
