Ushering in a new era of fashion and art calls for a ball—and this year, we pulled out all the stops to make it the grandest one yet. The Preview Ball has always been a much anticipated event for the local fashion and entertainment industry, and after two years of lockdowns, it's back in all of its glory. We don't know about you, but we're still on a high from all of the happenings of the night. For a quick recap of everything that went down, scroll away.
All the Highlights of The 2022 Preview Ball
1. It was held at the chic Bridgetowne Destination Estate
Our stylish guests were called to gather at The Bridgetowne Destination Estate. What exactly is a "destination estate", you ask? It means that it'll soon be home to a premium shopping mall, a luxury hotel, public art installations and more! A fitting venue for an event that exudes innovation and style!
2. The most stunning celebs sashayed down the pink carpet
Bringing all the glimmer to the night was, of course, the stars on our guest list. From Marian Rivera being the prettiest in pink to Pia Wurtzbach turning up the heat in Saint Laurent, our favorite celebs and influencers certainly didn't disappoint with their looks. Tens across the board!

3. The entrance walkway had us on cloud nine (literally)
After strutting their stuff on the pink carpet, attendees passed through what could be considered as every Instagram girl's heaven. Thanks to La Belle Fete, the walkway to the main hall was transformed into a pastel-hued cotton candy pathway with reflective flooring and walls, perfect for selfies and OOTD shots.
4. Guests were greeted with amazing art installations
Right outside the main hall were a couple of astounding art installations from MONO8 Gallery. Featuring works by artists Veronica Lazo, Annie Pacana, Pepe Delfin, and Denver Garza, the installations not only served as aesthetically pleasing backdrops for pictures, but also offered us pennies for our thoughts.
5. There was a stylebot ready to capture all of our OOTDs
Who doesn't love getting a cool stylebot reel? GUESS mounted one just for us and our guests, and each one of them literally looked like masterpieces stepping out of their frames.
6. Alodia Gosiengfiao was awarded with a super special award
After kicking off the night, host Nicole Andersson called on influencer and cosplayer superstar Alodia Gosiengfiao to present her with the Bridgetowne Winning Lifestyle Award. The prestigious honor from Robinsons grants Alodia an all expenses-paid, five-star trip to the Premier Integrated Resorts in Cebu City! Lucky girl!
7. The open bar had the best drinks to indulge in
Of course, what's a party without something zippy to sip on? The open bar had the best options for all of our attendees, which included the zesty Preview Manila Margarita, the fruity BYS Ursula, the classy Avignon Elderflower G&T, the fizzy Bridge Manila Mule, and the earthy Guess Godfather Sour. Bottoms up!
8. Our official manifesto was premiered
One of the anchors of this event is Preview's desire to push forward a more inclusive identity and philosophy (plus, we also wanted to introduce the new faces behind every word, photo, and video you see). These were best expressed through our official manifesto video, which was filmed and edited by Chapters by MAYAD. Click play on it below in case you haven't seen:
9. Our very first Most Influential 50 list was introduced
Another highlight of the night was the awarding of the 50 most influential personalities of 2022. These honorees were chosen primarily because of their undeniable impact on the masses, across the fields of fashion, beauty, and art. From Anne Curtis to SB19, these individuals and groups certainly capture the diversity Preview aims to champion.
10. Our very first moving cover featuring Belle Mariano was unveiled
Since the gathering was held on the heels of September, a.k.a. fashion month, we took the oppurtunity to unveil the face of one of our most vital covers of the year. This was none other than Gen Z star Belle Mariano.
Aside from the stunning photos shot by Charisma Lico, the cover also came with a moving version directed by Simon Te, with Aren Santos of ADSET Prod creating the set. It aimed to give you, our beloved readers and viewers, a little sneak peak into what goes behind every project we push out—and it goes without saying that this cover is only one of many more to come.
